New York Agency Disclosure
New York State law requires real estate licensees who act as agents of buyers or sellers to provide a disclosure form explaining the types of agency relationships available. This disclosure is informational. It is not a contract.
Agents may represent a seller, a buyer, or, with informed written consent of both parties, act as a dual agent or designated sales agent. Each relationship carries different duties, which are described in the official form.
